I need ideas for homebusinesses. Can you help with this? I am working on a huge project, for the whole family to participate, and need the funds for it. Please help with ideas!
Hi Laura, If you are a good seamstress, you could have an alterations and repairs business. My mom does this and gets most of her business from leaving business cards at local fabric stores. Stores like Hancock's have folders that they keep seamstresses business cards for customers. And you can charge around $10-$15 for small things (for instance, hemming pants) and much more for more complicated jobs.
Rachel, Thankyou for that advice. I had never thought of that. I could put an advertisement in the paper, or on a bill board near Joann Fabrics, about seamstressing. I can sew fairly well, and can hem pants. God bless you, and thankyou again!
